Our award winning entry showcases excellence in NHS supply chain management and procurement, and how Ingenica has helped Lancashire become a leading force in the area of sourcing and procurement; a true success story outside the commercial world. We scooped the winning award in the ‘Sourcing and Procurement’ category, beating some very worthy competition from global multimillion dollar businesses. However celebrations didn’t end there (drum roll please!), we were also awarded highly commended for the same project in the ‘Public and Third Sectors’ category.
In its 21st year, Logistics & Supply Chain Excellence Awards were launched as an initiative to recognise and reward organisations around the world that demonstrate excellence in their supply chain organisations. The awards are also renowned for the rigour of the judging process; which makes our joint win even more special. We have been rewarded for attaining the highest standards and recognised for our outstanding achievement in supply chain management.
