Ingenica 1314 Cancer Research Cycle Challenge

Richard & Graeme - Cycling for CancerIngenica Solutions are proud to sponsor and support one of our own as he undertakes a challenging & gruelling cycle challenge for Cancer Research UK.

Ingenica’s Richard Harland (40) and Graeme Murdoch (39) are Brothers-In-Law who have for some time wanted to undertake an endurance challenge of some magnitude. Based in the Scottish Borders and North East of England respectively, both have previously been inspired by the charity efforts of others to raise funds for fantastic causes.

Graeme and Richard agreed to undertake a life changing cycle challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. The event will cover a vast amount of the UK mainland and will test them mentally and physically like they have never experienced before. The key points to this challenge are as follows:

  • Complete 13 one hundred mile rides in just 14 days starting in Scotland on the 23rd July, moving into the west of England and Wales, then the south of England then up the east of England finishing in the north East on the 5th  August
  • To raise £10,000 for Cancer Research & raise the profile of the charity.
  • Set an inspirational example to their children and others by showing them that through working hard and with a lot of effort you can achieve anything that you set your mind too.
  • Physical and mental challenge for Graeme and Richard. Both are competitive with themselves and have an inner drive to push themselves to the limit to achieve.
