Here at Ingenica Solutions we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us.

What information do we collect?
As part of our sales and marketing activity we collect and hold in our CRM system information you have voluntary supplied through various sources such as email enquiries direct or through our web site, meetings, telephone conversation and details supplied at conferences and marketing events.
Within our financial system we hold data on customers and suppliers and this is retained for legal purposes and legitimate business reasons.
To support customers, Ingenica hold contact details of the customers’ representatives who are authorised to raise support calls, this is considered a legitimate business reason.
In addition, to support the business we hold details of suppliers and sub-contractors’ representatives of companies we do or may do business with.
What type of information is collected from you?
The information we collect from you is, full name, email address, telephone number, job title and organisation.
Special Categories of Data
Ingenica will only process sensitive data, see section 2.3 where the Data Subject has expressly consented to such processing or where one of the following conditions apply the processing:
- relates to Personal information which has already been made public by the Data Subject;
- is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- is specifically authorised or required by law.
- is necessary to protect the vital interests of the Data Subject or of another natural person where the Data Subject is physically or legally incapable of giving consent;
- Further conditions, including limitations, based upon national law related to the processing of genetic data, biometric data or data concerning health.
Children are unable to consent to the processing of personal information and consent will be sought from the person who holds parental responsibility over the child. However, it should be noted that where processing is lawful under other grounds, consent need not be obtained from the child or the holder of parental responsibility.
How do we use the information about you?
Information in our CRM system on prospects and customers may be used if you agree to receive literature and information about our products and services that we think you may be interested in, information on events etc. We do not pass on this information to any other parties.
Information held in our Customer Support Database is only used to confirm we are dealing with an authorised representative of the customer or supplier.
Information held in our Customers’ Databases may on occasion need to be accessed to resolve problems, when data needs to be used for testing or to migrate to our systems from another database. Agreement is reached with the customer on whether authorisation is required every time we need access or for a period. Information is only viewed over an approved secure network connection and in a secure area set aside by Ingenica for this purpose.

Who will it be shared with?
We will not disclose or share any of your personal information to any external third-party organisations. Your data will only be used by internal Ingenica employees.
Access to your information and correction or removal?
You have the right to request information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all your personal information, details corrected or removed please write or email the Data Protection Officer email@example.com
Ingenica will provide the required information as required/permitted by applicable law, contract, or where it considers that it is reasonably appropriate to do so. A small charge may be made.
Removal of data will be subject to the following conditions: –
- the law prohibiting erasure.
- erasure would impair legitimate interests of the Data Subject.
- the data subject disputes that their personal information is correct, and it cannot be clearly ascertained whether their information is correct or incorrect.
Where Ingenica host customer database the customer must be contacted, we will not enter correspondence or discuss on the information held.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. Currently we do not use any cookies should this policy change in the future we will provide you with details on how you can set the browser not to receive cookies and how to remove them.
